It may not surprise you that in  addition to  helping our students brainstorm, edit and polish up the most fabulous college essays of all time, we also spend a lot of time reading news related to the college essay and  keeping ourselves up-to-date on the ever-changing admissions process. When something particularly striking hits the news, we try to provide our own commentary  on the CEA Blog, but it is not always possible to do an in-depth analysis of every piece of advice or news the internet has to offer.
